**Critics are worried that MTV's Teen Mom might glamorize teen pregnancy and make teenagers want to become early parents. After watching it I can report that I don't want to be a parent. Or a teenager. Or a person.

**R. Crumb has just released his highly anticipated illustrated rendering of The Book Of Genesis. There's no mention of Phil Collins, but I understand the chapter on The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway is quite riveting.

**From a recent Discovery Channel special on kit foxes: "The kit fox makes its yearly journey across the Arctic tundra, where it burrows in the snow and creates a safe and warm den for the duration of the winter. Sharing this cozy space are Beatles, Badgers and the hibernating pop singer Shakira.

**What do I think of the new season of American Idol? Let's just say it lacks that X Factor...

**The fabulous Was (Not Was) is set to release Pick Of The Litter, 1980-2010, a comprehensive anthology of their career. Nobody asked me, but I thought they should call it Were (Or Were They?) 1980-2010...
