Veil Veil Vanish
Change in the Neon Light
Metropolis

Veil Veil Vanish's debut Change In The Neon Light is filled with dark, paranoia-ridden songs that make you want to dance. "Change in the Neon Light" has an electric, upbeat vibe to it, while the similar "Secondhand Daylight" is the catchiest song on this San Francisco outfit's album. Screaming guitars highlight the harder "Anthem For A Doomed Youth." The intense "Exile City" and the pounding "Detachment" have a driving beat that gets you moving. Less successful are "Modern Lust" and "Wilderness"; the former suffers from an overuse of synthesizers, while the latter sounds like tacky metal on an '80s horror movie soundtrack
